The Superior Engineering Stealth Rear Pinion Guard has been custom designed and manufactured to suit the PX Ford Ranger (2012-2015) rear differential.

Design Objectives

This guard has been designed to sit as close to the original diff housing as possible for the ultimate protection of your Pinion.

To further add to the protection, the Pinion guard is also supplied with a brace that fits snuggly against the housing to help share the impact load.

The guard is proudly made right here in Australia, laser cut from heavy duty 6mm 250 grade Australian steel, CAD engineered for the ultimate in durability and strength, CNC pressed for a precise fit, then sand-blasted and powder coated for a hard wearing corrosion resistant finish.

Drain holes are also included to ensure easy care and maintenance of this component.

This guard is a 100% bolt-on component that comes ‘Ready to Fit’ straight out of the box with all the grade 8 hardware, for a quick and easy installation with NO cutting, drilling or welding needed.

Installation

The pinion guard comes ‘Ready to Fit’ straight out of the box.

Includes all the grade 8 hardware, for a direct 100% bolt-in installation with NO cutting, drilling or welding needed.

Includes the following components:

  • 1 x Ford Ranger Pinion Guard
  • 2 x Pinion Guard Backing Plates
  • 4 x M14 X 1.5 X 130mm Bolts
  • 4 x M14 X 1.5 Nylock/Conelock Nuts

  1. Nice pinion guard. Could you tell me if it is the same guard that would fit on an American Ford 93 Explorer with a 8.8 rear end. I’ve seen other types of guards but bolt directly to housing behind pinion. Appreciate any info.
